Our substrate has an acidic pH, perfect for coniferous trees and shrubs that thrive in soil with a lower pH. This feature promotes healthy plant development and provides optimal growth conditions
Moisture retention
The appropriate mix of high and low peat retains moisture, ensuring that conifers have constant access to water, even during drier periods. This is especially crucial for plants in pots
Nutritional richness
Our substrate contains compost from conifer bark and a multi-nutrient fertilizer that gradually releases nutrients. This provides conifers with consistent access to minerals that support healthy growth over time. The substrate is enriched with additional nitrogen, promoting needle and green shoot growth
