Optimal substrate mix
Carefully selected ratio of organic and mineral components create ideal conditions for the shallow root system of blueberries. The substrate is permeable, maintains the desired level of moisture in the substrate and promotes proper root aeration
Proper water retention
The addition of clay helps the substrate retain water for longer while preventing it from accumulating excessively. This gives the roots constant and even access to moisture, which promotes healthy growth and strong development
Rich in nutrients
Compost and composted bark enrich the substrate with humus and beneficial microorganisms that enhance plant development. Balanced NPK fertilizer provides minerals necessary for shoot growth and abundant fruiting
Acidic pH
An acidic pH of 3.8–4.8 creates an environment in which blueberries and cranberries grow healthiest, easily absorb nutrients, and maintain vibrant leaf color and high yield potential
