Porous ingredients
Basalt sand and pearlite, due to their loose and porous structure, ensure good substrate permeability, which means that water may easily penetrate through them, and excessive moisture does not accumulate around the plants’ roots
Appropriately adjusted pH
Cherry laurel grows well in soil with neutral or slightly alkaline pH, therefore our substrate has a specially fixed pH at 6.5–7.5. This value also enables growing other alkaline-loving plants
Good moisture retention
With an appropriate proportion of organic components, such as peat, the soil has ability to retain moisture – that is especially important for cherry laurel, which requires a constantly moist substrate
Nutritional richness
The substrate contains green compost, composted bark and long-acting fertilizer that minimizes the risk of over-fertilizing the plants. Numerous nutrients are gradually released and thus more assimilable for plants

- Growing plants such as: cherry laurel, buddleia, hellebore, boxwood, lilac, grapevine, garden pink, etc.
