Organic gardening
• Improving soil properties for ornamental plants: perennials, bedding and balloon flowers; deciduous and coniferous trees and shrubs; fruit plants, i.e. fruit shrubs and trees, strawberries, wild strawberries, etc.; vegetables and herbs, lawn
• Lawn fertilization
• Enrichment of poor soils with humus and nutrients
• Improving soil structure
• Plant mulching
• Compost
• pH in H2O: 6,0–8,8
• Salinity: 2,0–4,0g/l
• Organic matter content in dry matter: over 10%
• The best application period is spring and autumn, it can also be used throughout the year depending on the application
Ornamental plants
• Late top dressing: spread a layer of 3-4 cm (30-40 l / m²), mix with the topsoil to a depth of approx. 20 cm
• Fertilizing before planting: mix garden compost in a ratio of 1: 4 with the soil in which we plant plants to a depth of about 20-30 cm
Fruit plants
• Before planting, spread up to 4 l / m²
• Garden compost should be evenly spread over the surface of the soil and then mixed with the surface layer of soil
• In an existing orchard, garden compost must be spread around the trees in early spring, before vegetation begins, in quantities up to 2 l / m²
Mulching
• Spread 2–5 cm of garden compost under plants
Lawn
• Spread 1 cm (10 l / m²) of garden compost onto an existing lawn to strengthen it
• When setting up the lawn, spread 4-5 cm (40-50 l / m²) and mix with the soil
Greengrocer
• Spread a layer of 2–5 cm (20–50 l / m²) and mix with the soil to a depth of approx. 15–30 cm
• You can then plant plants
Preparation of arable media
• Mix 20–40% garden compost with peat or other soil components
